Peter Liew Vui Ching was born in Sabah to a Sino-Dusun mother. He attended a Chinese primary school and later SM All Saints and La Salle for secondary, before pursuing his master’s degree in architecture and urban design in Los Angeles, California. As a professional, he designed and managed his own developments and in early 2000 completed two medium-scale housing and shop-lot projects.
Peter accepted Christ in 1985 and is a member of Basel Church (BCCM) in Sabah. His worldview about existence and redemption shifted after attending the Haggai Institute in Maui, Hawaii in 2017. He is married to Christine Chan in Hong Kong and they have a son, Jia Jun, who is reading Law and Finance at HKU.
